David Bowie Toy

Album „Toy“ David Bowie je snimio nakon nastupa na Glastonbury festivalu 2000. godine. Bilo je planirano da album bude objavljen iste godine. Međutim, odluka izdavačke kuće je bila da Bowie snimi kompletno novi materijal. Tako su pesme sa ovog izdanja postale deo legende o Davidovom „izgubljenom albumu“. Pre deset godina izdanje je objavljeno online a 2022. godine album „Toy“ je objavljen u punom sjaju. Tokom pomenute sesije iz 2000. godine David Bowie je reinterpretirao pesme koje je snimio u periodu od 1964. do 1971. godine. Na ovom izdanju zastupljene su pesme „In The Heat of the Morning“ (iz 1968. godine) sa gudačkim deonicama koje su preuzete sa originalne demo verzije, zatim „Shadow Man“ a Bowie je tom prilikom ponovo snimio i svoj prvi singl „Liza Jane“ iz 1964. godine.
